Posted by ichatmedia | Under Organic Food, Organic Food for Children, Top Organic Food Wednesday Jun 25, 2008Some countries have a problem of childhood obesity, problem that cause of lack of exercise and eating the wrong food. When children have their early experiences with food, they form an opinion by loving that particular food. If they are given sweet food like chocolates, they will like chocolate, if they are having fruits like apples or oranges they will like apples or oranges. The thing that parent or people have children can do to stop the problem of childhood obesity is to help kids to develop food preferences that are healthy and less fattening.
The next thing people can do is to begin eliminating the additives and preservatives in food that contribute to childhood obesity and adult obesity as well. Monosodium glutamate or MSG is the additive that also increases the tendency for obesity. There are many other food additives that are just as bad as MSG, the best way to eliminate all prepackaged foods from a child’s diet is to substitute the junk foods like potato chips and organic food such as organic apples or organic vegetables.
Eating organic food does not contain chemical flavor enhancers or preservatives, the toxins that are in the food that is produced by conventional means are also contributes to childhood obesity. And organic food can help cure the obesity problem.

A research found that more than 70% of Americans are consuming reduced-fat foods and over half of them are eating reduced-calories, like grains and oats. Most consumers are adding grains, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and pro-biotic to their diets.
Eating organic foods gives consumers the nutrient and is free from any chemical toxicity; most consumers are discerning and prefer to buy agriculture that is grown without pesticides and any other toxins. The chemical toxins that are put in a non-organic food may cause cancer or any illness, products that are non-organic is easily determined because of the texture and the taste of the product, and while the organic product give more taste, and some studies have found higher nutrient levels in organic fruits and vegetables compared with non-organic grown products. Buying organic product are much better in local grown because it cuts down the amount of carbon dioxide created in transporting the products and minimize its travel in your basket.
Choosing a healthy food product or organic food product has an advantage to have a healthy and sustainable diet while eating great taste of food.
