Food Advantage

Wednesday Jun 25, 2008

Some countries have a problem of childhood obesity, problem that cause of lack of exercise and eating the wrong food.  When children have their early experiences with food, they form an opinion by loving that particular food.  If they are given sweet food like chocolates, they will like chocolate, if they are having fruits like apples or oranges they will like apples or oranges.  The thing that parent or people have children can do to stop the problem of childhood obesity is to help kids to develop food preferences that are healthy and less fattening.

The next thing people can do is to begin eliminating the additives and preservatives in food that contribute to childhood obesity and adult obesity as well.  Monosodium glutamate or MSG is the additive that also increases the tendency for obesity. There are many other food additives that are just as bad as MSG, the best way to  eliminate all prepackaged foods from a child’s diet is to substitute the junk foods like potato chips and organic food such as organic apples or organic vegetables.

Eating organic food does not contain chemical flavor enhancers or preservatives, the toxins that are in the food that is produced by conventional means are also contributes to childhood obesity.  And organic food can help cure the obesity problem.
